| Maryanne Carman is the Chief Designer of Web Rich and is currently based in Maungaturoto in Northland, New Zealand. She is a self taught Web Designer, Photo Manipulation artist, and Design Consultant. Maryanne has been designing websites for four years and has enjoyed both freelance and employed environments. Maryanne enjoys the creative aspect of designing websites and loves to learn new techniques and styles. She has also loved the transition from being a former Game Designer to her now role as a Web Designer and business owner.. |

In 2005/06 I had the pleasure of joining a team of Animators, Illustrators, Programmers and Writers whom provided text and graphic based fantasy gaming worlds for online RP (role play) enthusiasts.
My role was to help research and construct the content - races, geographic layout, cities, characters etc - and provide a consistent storyline for an idea which the game was based around. I loved the whole process, and thoroughly enjoyed the amazing people I worked with and the experience but the sleepless nights of which there were many...not so much! |

I have a love of the Arts and do photo manipulation artworks when time permits, my artwork being of the fantasy and dark art persuasion. With a new pursuit of 3D imagery being my latest challenge which will no doubt open up the scope of artistic expression for me being quite the fan of 3d rendered artworks.
I also enjoy in spare time, creative writing and have a love of writing short stories, and I like to dabble in photography every now and then. |
